The three main actresses alone are worth the price of admission.

There's not much originality on show here, but the performances lift the piece shoulder high and, when a movie is this lovable, it's tough not to be charmed.

The script . . . has its heart in the right place aside from some bizarre tonal shifts, but it's too vetted in personifying everyone's arcs to actually move well.

The jokes are few and the plot predictable. It is a one-joke film, with Martin being the highlight of the movie.

Fundamentally flawed but it has some wicked one-liners that cut close to the PC bone leading to an ultimately timely message.
