It's the snobs against the slobs! While caddying at a snooty country club, ambitious young Danny (Michael O'Keefe) goes for a college scholarship. Meanwhile, a crude construction tycoon goes to extremes to be accepted into the exclusive club, and a psychotic groundskeeper stalks a rampaging gopher. It all adds up to one of the greatest sports movies of all time and a highly quotable, unforgettably classic comedy.

Essentially 'Animal House' on the links, it's neither as raucous nor as outrageous as that definitive college comedy but it has the same rebellious spirit and a great cast of comedy legends showing the young co-stars how it's done.

Caddyshack is problematic today in that it depicts racism and bigotry, but non-snowflake viewers should have no problem understanding that such outdated attitudes are the target of the film’s irreverence...
